Yin and Yang

The chaotic world is orderly, the ugly ones are beautiful, and the hated ones beloved.

Everything Is Just Energy

Originally there is no color. We receive the reflection of light, which the brain perceives as color.

There is no time. The perception of time is very tricky and binds us.
Now, now, now is going on forever.

I was born in Nigata, Japan. When I was a student of Musashino Art University, I roamed about the Europe and began to take photographs in the hippie commune.  After graduating from University, I became a freelance photographer and took pictures of magazines, advertisements and more… After my son was born, I lived with my son and European Gypsies and created works.

I exhibited Gypsy works between 2009 and 2011 as you can see below in My Work Chronology. However, I struggled with myself, who knew about lost culture and natural life but couldn’t do anything, and stopped exhibiting.

In order to popularize the organic industry and revitalize the disappearing local culture and industry, I started to produce projects for regional revitalization from a unique perspective and sensibility.

And recently, I am working on the project to save the traditional Japanese herb “Red Shiso” and it continues to this day. It has a very unique scent and is usually used only for eating, but I produce skin care products “SHIZOOJU” with it.
